Playing With Shadows

"Like a child playing with shadows in their room at night."

This is a new year's visual countdown for Canteen, a restaurant in Jakarta.
I was inspired by the "Batman style", a silhouette style at Le Petit Prince Museum in Hakone, Japan.

Instead of still silhouette, we used moving silhouette, and create some stories. The silhouette images tells a continuous story of a passed message to a light snuffer that new year has come.
